East TX LocationAt the beginning of 2023, C&O opened our new consolidatied location east of Jacksonville Texas. The new location provides all of the same great features as our previous location plus the added benefit of future expansion. Located in the central portion of East Texas, we are more effectively able to service the entire North, South and East Texas markets with our Service, Sales and Rentals.

Lance Clayton
C & O Equipment was established in 1998 by Lance Clayton. The company prospered by way of one man dedicated to finding ways to consistently help his lifelong customers with their equipment needs by moving to a physical location in Keller, TX in 2000. At this time he was proud to make room for his oldest son Jody Clayton who joined the company upon graduation from Abilene Christian University. The company grew into a turnkey dealership offering Parts, Service, Sales and Rentals.
In 2013 Lance was diagnosed with a terminal illness. After eight months of a valiant and brave bout with this illness Lance passed away August 20, 2013. Knowing no better way to honor the legacy of such an inspirational man, the company has continued to grow. The company has many tenured team members and managers excited and ready to continue improving ways to take care of customers. Although a man like Lance can never be replaced, the simple and sincere concept of treating others the way you want to be treated can and will be duplicated at this place of business.
It is with great love and honor that we dedicate this memorial tribute to Lance. We miss you very much. You will be with us in mind and spirit always.
